Additions and extras

If a basic RV insurance policy doesn’t give you all the protections you’re looking for, there are always add-on coverages at your disposal. Here are a few of the most common:

Comprehensive
Your RV is insured against damages caused by theft, vandalism, flood, fire, hail, or a different peril.

Collision
You’re covered for repair and/or replacement costs when your RV is damaged in a collision.

Contents
If the belongings inside your RV are lost, damaged, or stolen, the cost to repair or replace are covered.

Family Protection
If you or one of your family members is injured or killed in an accident that involves a driver who is uninsured, you’re covered.

Guaranteed Replacement
The full replacement cost of your RV is covered in the event that it is stolen or damaged and cannot be repaired.

Alternate Transportation
If your RV is damaged to the point that it is no longer drivable, you’re covered for a car rental (or another form of alternative transportation).
